High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI or HDR) is a set of techniques used in imaging and photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminance than is possible with standard digital imaging or conventional photographic techniques.
The aim is to present the human eye with a similar range of brightness as that which, through the optical system, they are familiar with in everyday life. The human eye, through iris adaptation (and other methods) is constantly adapting to the general dynamic changes everywhere in our environment.
The brain is constantly interpreting this information so that most of us can see in a wide range of lighting conditions. Luminance HDR is a free graphics software used to create and manipulate High Dynamic Range images.
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows
