RIOT: Optimize your photos in real time

RIOT is a small simple app to compare the original to an optimized image of the same photo in real time and instantly see the file size.

It uses a dual panel and displays your photos side by side so you can compare the original with the optimized image in real time and see the file size instantly.

It is lightweight, fast and simple to use, with special features for advanced users that will help them control compression, number of colors, metadata settings and choose the final image format to save their optimized photos (JPG, GIF or PNG). RIOT can be integrated as a plug-in into well-known graphics viewing and editing programs such as GIMP, IrfanView and XnView.

Once the installation is complete, launch RIOT by double-clicking on the desktop icon. Click the "Open" button to select an image file from your computer, or alternatively drag and drop the image directly into the RIOT menu.

Once the image is loaded, you can preview the original image and the optimized version side by side. RIOT provides various optimization options, such as adjusting the image quality, resizing the image, and choosing the output format.

Adjust the optimization settings to your liking. You can see the resulting file size in real time as you make changes.

Once you are satisfied with the optimization settings, click the "Save" button and save the optimized image to the desired location on your computer.
