LibreCAD is a free Open Source 2D-CAD application for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. In recent years there has been an improvement in the cad type applications available for Linux and constantly something new is emerging. The application is new and is constantly evolving, and at this stage at least can not be compared with professional products such as AutoCAD, however due to its continuous improvement is on a very good path.
