IdealCiruit: Analog electronic circuit simulator

IdealCiruit is an analog circuit simulator that works with truly ideal components. It uses exactly the same unique and powerful algorithm as the NL5 circuit simulator. However, it is simplified as much as possible with a very simple and intuitive interface, fewer components and models, without fancy and powerful features that are only useful for specialized applications.

What is the "ideal" element? The best example is an ideal switch, with zero resistance when closed, infinite resistance when open and instantaneous switching. Another example: an ideal diode with similar properties. All other components may not be as "ideal" as switches and diodes, but they are also simplified to provide just the basic functionality required for this type of component.

Why use ideal accessories? With ideal components, engineers can evaluate a general design idea and demonstrate the feasibility of their design very quickly, leaving detailed analysis to the basic tools.
