BatteryMon, is a battery monitoring application. It is designed as an easy-to-use application for Windows and allows users to monitor the performance of laptop batteries and power supplies (UPS).
Graphically you can see your battery's charge-discharge frequency, diagnose problem cells, compare and measure your batteries' performance against expected discharge values, see your batteries' critical discharge point, record the performance of a battery for later reference, refer to the status of each individual battery when multiple batteries are used.
Batteries, given their chemical nature, are prone to wear, corrosion, leakage and outright failure due to events such as short circuits. Given their tendency to fail and degrade over time, it is important to be able to detect and monitor their performance.
With BatteryMon, monitoring the battery status of your laptop or UPS has never been easier. Finally, clicking your mouse on the graph minimizes the application and it now appears on your desktop as a bar.
