MKV: Convert and watch your favorite DVDs on all your devices

MakeMKV is a free solution to convert your own videos to free format so that it can be played anywhere. It is basically a decoder, which converts videos to a series of MKV files, while keeping the basic information of the video unchanged.

It can store multiple video / audio tracks and all metadata so you can watch Blu-ray and DVDs with your favorite player on your operating system or device. 

Reads DVDs and Blu-ray Discs, and stores all video and audio tracks, including HD, audio, chapters, and all meta-information (spoken language, audio). 

Insert the DVD into your computer and wait for it to read, click on the disc icon to specify where you want your files to be saved and click convert.
