DisplayCAL (formerly known as dispcalGUI) is a display calibration and profiling application with a focus on accuracy and flexibility, it is an advanced open source color management system capable of taking measurements, creating calibrations and profiles, and a variety of other advanced work related to color.
You can use it to calibrate and characterize your monitors using one of the many supported metrics, with support for multi-monitor setups and a variety of options available for advanced users, such as verification and reporting functionality to evaluate ICC profile and display devices, creating video 3D LUTs and more
