Windows 10 and 11 provide less control over the operating system's update behavior than previous versions of Windows. There is no option to permanently disable Windows Updates.
However, you can somehow control the update process and disable the Windows Update service. This requires you to open the Service Manager, locate the service, and change the startup parameter and startup state.
You should re-enable the service whenever you want the operating system to check for updates.
Of course, we will follow another much simpler way through the Windows Update Blocker application by simply running the executable file and selecting the desired setting.
