Mixere is a free, standalone app, meaning it doesn't have an installer. To install it, simply copy the files to a folder somewhere on your hard drive. Mixere is especially optimized for creating live sound collages. Conceptually, it's like a shelf full of CD players connected to an automated mixer.
Mixere's features include dynamic audio looping, automatic audio activation, fully automated sliders, "soft" fading between music file snapshots, and unlimited undo. Any number of tracks can play simultaneously, subject only to the limits of Windows and the performance of the sound card.
When Mixere starts, it opens the mixer menu, but the mixer doesn't contain anything yet, so the first thing we need to do is load our songs. Fortunately, this is very easy.
Just choose load audio from the File menu or press Ctrl + L. In the dialog box navigate to wherever your audio files are, select one or more files, and press enter. Each track has six buttons (Play, Pause, Stop, Loop, Mute, and Solo) and four sliders.
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows
