Microsoft Safety Scanner is a detection tool designed to find and remove malware from Windows computers. You can just download it and run a scan and the application in case it finds a dangerous threat will try to reverse the changes made by the identified threats.
The application only detects when activated manually and is available for use within 10 days of receipt. We recommend that you always download the latest version of this tool before each security scan. This is a portable executable file that does not appear in the Windows Start menu or as a desktop icon. Note, however, that this tool does not replace the antivirus you are using.
