CurrPorts is an extremely useful tool that allows you to monitor all open ports on your computer, as well as related information for each open port. It was developed by Nir Sofer and is free for personal use.
It displays a detailed list of your computer's active connections, including information about the source and destination of the connections, the protocol used, the connection status, and more. This is useful for monitoring network activities and detecting potential security threats.
For each port listed, information about the process that opened the port is also displayed, including the process name, the full path of the process, information about its version (product name, file description, etc.), the time it was created, the method, and the user who created it.
Additionally, it allows you to close unwanted TCP connections, terminate the process that opened the ports, as well as the ability to save TCP/UDP port information to HTML file, XML file, delimited text file. Finally, it will inform you in pink color suspicious TCP/UDP ports belonging to unknown applications.
