FortiClient is a protection suite that provides a variety of functions, including antivirus software, web filtering, firewall and parental controls, on PCs and mobile devices. It can also be used to connect to a FortiGate using either VPN SSL or IPsec. FortiClient is available for Windows, Mac OSX, iOS and Android and can be configured quickly. Once installed, it automatically updates the virus definition files and performs a full system scan. Utilizes FortiClient Antivirus technology, developed by Fortinet. Antivirus has won more than twenty VB100 awards and is capable of detecting threats. Security incidents, including botnet detection malware and vulnerabilities, are reported in real time. Deep real-time networking allows administrators to investigate and remove problems. FortiClient uses SSL and IPSec VPNs to provide secure and reliable access to corporate networks and applications from almost any remote Internet-connected location that simplifies the remote user experience with built-in auto-connectivity and continuous VPN operation.
Two-factor authentication can also be used to provide an additional level of security.
