Joplin is a free application that can handle a large number of notes organized on laptops. Notes can be retrieved, copied, tagged, and edited either directly from the applications or from your own word processor. When synchronized, notes, notebooks, tags, and other metadata are stored in plain text files that can be easily inspected and moved. Office applications can be used to import notes from Evenote via .exx files, including formatted content (converted to markdown), resources (images, attachments, etc.) and complete metadata (geolocation, updated time).
It is available for computers and mobile phones. Features include full encryption, note history (revisions), synchronization with various services such as Nextcloud, Dropbox, WebDAV and OneDrive, import of Enex files (Evernote export format) and Markdown files. Fully supports Greek. It can also work as an add-on for Google Chrome and Firefox.
