NVDA: Free screen reader for the blind and visually impaired.


NV Access is a charity and software development company. There are 285 million blind and visually impaired people in the world. Everyone has amazing talents to contribute to society, but they need the right tools to make their dreams come true. Technology is the key. Technology opens many doors. But for those with visual impairments there is a difficulty in accessing. NVDA, a free, open source, globally accessible screen reader for the blind and visually impaired. This software, called a "screen reader", is needed to translate visual information orally so that they can understand what is on the screen. The program automatically recognizes the language you use on your computer and modifies the installation accordingly.
