
STEPS
- Launch Quick Assist: To open Quick Assist, type "Quick Assist" in the search bar on the Windows taskbar and select the Quick Assist application from the search results ( If the application is not installed, download from windows store and run it.
- Choose your role: Quick Assist offers two options: "Give help" and "Get help". If you want to provide support, select "Provide assistance". If you need help, select "Get help".
- Get Help: If you selected "Get Help", you'll see a 6-digit security code on your screen. Share this code with the person you want to help.
- Get help: If you selected "Get help", you will be asked to enter the 6-digit security code provided by the person helping you. Enter the code and click "Submit".
- Sign in: Once the security code is entered, the sign-in process will begin and the helper will be prompted to allow the sign-in. They must click "Yes" to continue.
- Screen sharing and control: Once the connection is established, the person providing assistance will be able to see your screen and control your computer (with your permission). They can diagnose and fix problems, demonstrate certain tasks, or walk you through steps.
- Ending the session: When you're done with the help session, either the person providing help or the person receiving help can click the "Stop Sharing" button to end the connection.

It is important to note that Quick Assist requires an internet connection and both parties must have Windows 10 installed on their computers. Also, be careful when sharing your security code with someone you don't trust, as they will have temporary access to your computer while the session is active.
Overall, Quick Assist is a useful feature that simplifies remote troubleshooting and support by allowing users to quickly connect and help each other over the Internet.
