If you're curious, read below to discover all the features this app offers, as well as instructions on where to start to create your own personalized menu.

It is distinguished by its flexibility and ability to adapt to every need. Below are the main features it offers:

CHARACTERISTICS

 1. Add Icons:
   - One of the most interesting features of CustomMenu is adding icons to your menu. You can insert icons to represent specific functions or links, making it easier to access your favorite options or applications.

2. Shortcut Buttons:
   - CustomMenu allows you to create buttons that perform shortcuts, either within the browser or for functions related to external applications. For example, you can add buttons for quick access to social networks, emails, management tools or other useful links.

3. Custom Text:
   - Another amazing feature is the ability to insert custom text into your menus. For example, you can add informative messages, reminders, or even decorative elements to liven up the user experience.

 4. Application Integration:
   - You can add or modify the menu to include easy access to custom apps and tools. This ensures that the essential apps you use are always readily available.

 5. Interface with Widgets:
   - If you are interested in having tools like timers, checklists or RSS Feeds integrated into your browser, CustomMenu allows you to do so via shortcuts or widgets.

STEPS

1.

But let's take things in order. After downloading the application unzip it and run the CustomMenu executable file. Right-clicking on any menu will open the CustomMenu ("Config") configuration window.

This window is rich in functionality with the ability to select the required command files and assign icons. The configuration window supports full drag and drop from explorer windows.

  2.

The configuration window supports full drag and drop from Windows Explorer as we said above, and this means that any number of files can be dropped into the menu on the left and CustomMenu will create a menu item for each of them.

In addition to executable files, you can drag and drop shortcuts into the Config window and CustomMenu will extract the details and automatically fill in the edit boxes for you.

You can also drag and drop files and folders into the Icon File, Command, and Directory edit boxes.

CustomMenu comes with its own Icon Explorer that lets you browse your entire computer for files that contain icons you can use. for example "shell32.dll" in the Windows\Sytem32 folder.

So starting do click on + and name the category you want to create. From there, drag the apps one by one under the category name. It is a good idea for each category you change to click on the option Separator after this item
so as to create separators between the categories.

To close the application press the key together Shift+right mouse click

If you want the menu you have created to permanently add it to the windows menu, click on the option  write to desktop menu. and save your selection.

So every time you right-click on your computer's desktop by pressing show more options among others, there will be the options you have created.

My opinion is, if you permanently add the applications you want to the windows menu, do it without creating categories, since in this case I think it doesn't make any sense and might confuse you.

However, if you do not want the permanent transfer of your menu to the windows menu, I consider it necessary to create categories because it will facilitate you beyond imagination.

If you want to change the menu you probably permanently added to the windows menu, just edit your menu again click on write to desktop menu. and save your selection.

There is no limit and you can do it as many times as you want, however, it would be good to have chosen in advance exactly what you want to include in the menu so that you don't have to do this job all the time.

There is no limit to the number of menu items, sub-menus or sub-menu items you can have. However, if a submenu contains more than 40 items, CustomMenu will automatically provide scroll buttons at the bottom of the submenu.

Although you can click on these buttons, if you place the mouse cursor over any of the buttons, CustomMenu will automatically scroll through the submenu.

Alternatively, you can use the mouse wheel to quickly scroll up and down the sub-menu

When the app is running on your computer your menu will appear whenever you right-click anywhere on the desktop, however the classic Windows desktop menu can be accessed at any time by simply holding the CTRL key and right-clicking on the desktop.
