Venmon is a system resource monitoring tool for Windows. It can monitor computer memory, processor, battery life, uptime, idle time, network traffic, and disk drives. It uses minimal processing power and memory usage while displaying real-time statistics. It can also run in portable mode if you select the appropriate file.
It is very simple to use and has a wide range of features for monitoring your system and network. It is an essential tool for any Windows user who wants to keep their system in top condition and check the connectivity of their network devices.
It provides detailed information about your system's resource usage, such as CPU, memory, disk, and network. You can also monitor your system's performance through graphs and charts, which help you better understand its behavior.
Additionally, it allows you to ping multiple devices on your network to check their connectivity. You can monitor their response and receive notifications if a device is not responding.
The main Venmon screen displays a general system summary, memory usage, processor usage, battery status, uptime, and idle time. System events will report activities such as, battery activity (percentage of charge/plugged in/unplugged/charging/not charging), memory changes allocated, and report periods of long idle times. Long idle times can be used to see when someone last used the computer.

Pings can be deleted, paused, or resumed individually or in a selected group. Multiple pings are distributed across all processor cores to balance the CPU load. Ping data is saved to a JSON file every hour or when the program is closed.
Yellow lines are slow response times defined by the timeout setting between 50 and 800 ms, red lines are expired pings, and blue lines indicate data possibly missing from a system or program restart.
Each timeline point can be hovered over for more details, or right-click to export all data to the clipboard, ready to paste into an email or text document.
