Is Wi-Fi always slower than wired connection?

Conversely, when reliability and continuous performance without interruptions are paramount, cable remains the most stable solution.

Therefore, as a final conclusion, we cannot say that Wi-Fi is always slower than a wired connection. On the contrary, it is more accurate to say that the speed and quality of the connection depend on technical and environmental factors. The evolution of wireless technology shows that the "gap" between the two forms of connection is constantly decreasing.
