Listen and Observe
What to watch out for:
👂 Sound: When using your laptop, listen carefully. There should be a steady, quiet sound. If you hear crackling, hissing, or excessive noise, something is wrong.

Close the Laptop Completely
Hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds to make sure it is completely turned off.

The fan looks like a small fan with blades. It is usually located near the hottest areas (next to the processor).

Disconnect the Cable
You will see a small wire connected to the fan
Gently pull it straight out (don't pull on the cable, grab the plug!)

Unscrew the screws holding the fan (usually 3-4 screws)

Install the New One
Place the new fan in exactly the same position
Tighten the screws (not too tight - just enough to be stable)
Plug the cable into place (you will hear a small "click")

Relock the Cover
Connect any cables you had disconnected.
Place the back cover in place.

Tighten all the screws (start from the corners and work towards the center)
