How does it work;
Trayy works in three simple ways that make your life easier:
1. Hide Open Windows
Do you have a program open that you don't want to close but is bothering you? With Trayy you can "hide" it in the bar next to the clock. Simply right-click on the window and select "Send to Tray". The program is still running, but it doesn't take up space on your screen!
2. Add Web Applications
This is the magic part! You can "install" any website as if it were a regular application. For example, instead of opening Chrome to check Gmail, Trayy creates a small window that lives in your taskbar. One click and your email appears instantly!
3. Create Quick Shortcuts
Want to open your favorite program with one click? Trayy lets you add shortcuts for anything - programs, folders, or even specific files. All organized in one place!
💡 Example:
Let's say you're working and want to have Spotify open for music. Instead of taking up space on your screen, you send it to the tray bar at the bottom right. The music plays normally, but the window is hidden. When you want to change songs, you just click the Spotify icon in the bar and it appears in front of you!

How to Install and Configure it
Step 1: Installation
Step 2: Add Apps (HERE is the secret!)
🎯 Important: When you press the button "+" to add an application, no selection window opens! You must write your name of the application in the empty field that will appear.
How to find the right name:
Examples of Names That Work:
- ✓ Chrome (for Google Chrome)
- ✓ Spotify (for Spotify)
- ✓ Notepad (for Notepad)
- ✓ Thunderbird (for email)
- ✓ WhatsApp Web (for web applications - write the tab title)
Step 3: Settings (Optional)
You can enable:
Click "Save Settings" to save!
Trayy is set up, but nothing has happened yet! You need to take the next step:
- Open the app that you added (e.g. open Gmail in your browser)
- You will see that the window has normal appearance - don't worry!
- Now do one of the following:
- Press the minimize button (-) top right
- Or do right click on the (-) button to send it to the bar
- The window disappears! Now look at the bottom right next to the clock - you'll see the Gmail icon! 🎯
- Make it click on the icon and Gmail appears again!
✅ That's it! From now on, every time you open Gmail, it will automatically go to the bar when you minimize it!
Usage Tips
Start with a few: Don't add all your apps from the beginning. Start with 3-4 that you use most often and then add others.
Organize the icons: Keep the most important apps first in line for easier access.
Try with websites: Web apps work perfectly with Trayy. Try it with Gmail or Google Calendar!
Don't forget to close: Even if they are hidden, applications are still running. Close the ones you don't need to save memory.
